Girl most likely; Jamaican break-out model vies for Pageant Crown!
As if the glory of an elite It-girl model wasn't enough Fennell goes after Ms Jamaica Universe title.
Ambitious and motivated a young Kaci Fennell; Independent Model, Influential Promoter and Aspiring Teacher is now a front-runner in the race for the title of Miss Jamaica Universe 2014. We see it ever so often where famed local models naturally progress into pagenatry to make way for a more prolific career in said modelling, acting or just general world peace keeping. What's Kaci's grounds? "First, I want to WIN!".
In all, Fennell's chances are as good as the other girl's, her experience however and personal readiness is rare. "These girls are green, and I don't know who they are" says gossip blogger Yemi Weekly and right he is. Sure it takes more than popularity to cop the crown. As a matter of fact, for arguement sake; popularity has nothing to do with it. The idea of being known speaks to experience and paid dues. To enter a pageant and win takes guts, raw confidence, bare beauty and bone deep intelligence and awareness. Does Kaci Fennell possess those qualities? As eclaimed by a patron at a MJU appearance "Kaci is a winner, finally I see a girl that can make us all forget about Yendi (Phillipps)" - a statement often echoed by KC supporters. Phillipp's contribution has progressed Jamaica's pagenat industry, sparking interest in hundreds of our islands most beautiful but none so that have managed to rival the Ms Universe runner-up's position in Jamaican history.
