Originated in the 80’s and developed by Bikram Choudhury these is a type of ‘hatha’ yoga characterized by a set series of postures and breather exercises, performed in a room heated to a very high temperature.
Ok, I’ll admit it; I stole that directly from google definitions. So, from a more personal and honest perspective this all sounds like a hotflash with friends to me. What does this mean? Well, it beats me, but it looks something like that below. Now let’s all attempt these moves on our own at noon outside on the hot concrete, DIY style.
No, but seriously I’m genuinely intrigued. Stay tuned, I may just fall down the heated trap hole of bikram to join Kerry-Ann Clarke, Yendi and friends in a intimate sweat fest.
