KACI FENNELL: SHE HAS ARRIVED

Having only been in Doral, Miami for the 2014 Miss Universe pageant for 7 days Kaci Fennell has arrived!

To sound like a proud papa, Fennel delivered a whopping 1 minute introduction, she was confident, relaxed, fluid and articulate. She hit all the right points and still remained true to herself, and did you catch "di vibes and tings" note?

Social Media

Moving onto social media and Kaci's rapidly growing numbers. Both her personal facebook and instagram pages have doubled in the past week grossing over 20ks fans across the world with a concentration of fans from the Philippines, Costa Rica, T&T and Mexico, with the expected support from Jamaica, US, UK and Canada.

In The Streets

Jamaicans -as we do- have joined the #Fenmade bandwagon thanks to Kaci’s natural and actual ‘Jamaicanness’ which has been very evident in the past week. Having been speaking with Aunty Kim (Mrs. Fennell) her family and closest friends are waiting in the wings and remain positive and intuitive in how they can help from ‘yaad’.

The Competition

As the week progresses we’re now at the 11 day mark counting down to the judgment day on January 25th where the new Miss Universe will be crowned. My personal opinion; Kaci has proved her ‘differentness’ from the jump, she’s been very visible on the blogs and Miss Universe official social media pages racking up the top 3 most likes consistently. The comment sections? People love her, the Jamaicans are there as well as her most loyal Philipinos.

The Conclusion

I’m always going to be a tough critic to my friends because, well, in the words of Iggy Azealia “No mediocre” and Kaci is far from that. I am especially proud of the fact that she has furthermore grown since her arrival in Doral and continues to shine in every shot. I can tell you that she’s very excited to be there and is very hopeful with her chances to cop the crown. My opinion? It’s 80% possible at this point. Hold your breaths belles Kaci Fennell is out to make history again and again. Watch this space for the exclusives *wink*
