Jamaican International models Tami Williams and Kai Newman gets the VOGUE treatment by industry icons Patrick Lindbergh and Grace Coddington for American Vogue March”15.
Tami (16) and Kai (17) are by no means no longer fashion newbies having walked for and starred in major campaigns and magazine spreads internationally. Walking alongside supermodels and for super designer brands these young Jamaican talents are the power duo to watch. Talk about diversity on runways and in major magazines, Grace Coddington Fashions redheaded saving grace and visual artist Peter Lindbergh is striking all the right notes. In the next Vogue Issue (March 2015) our girls Newman and Williams will star alongside fellow upcomers Leila Nda, Aya Jones, Imaan Hammam, Malaika Firth in a smashing spread dubbed “Light Brigade”. The spread features Tami and Kai running wild as disparate youth do through desert lands in D. Martins and delicate lace dresses with beautiful and expensive tresses. One can only imagine what these girls will be doing next with Kai already locking a major River Island campaign by Edward Enninful of W, formerly of US Vogue.
